You are the one generalizing kikuyu and not me.I singled out the tribalist (if there is such a word),from his region because there are also 'non-tribalist',conformists,flags blowing in the wind,as well as objective minds in his region. I therefore singled out this group as he did. There is also hardcore tribalism where i come,i will not call them luo but 'tribalist' or ethnic myopic. In his community he gave stereotypical examples of kikuyu 'ahoi' mentality 'we are safeguarding our property by voting our tribesman' :-

Mutahi Ngunyi is a Kikuyu,the title of his article was 'Why the house of Mumbi should climb down',i guess he was referring to Kikuyu's. Do you think otherwise? It was a genuine felt piece, whats wrong with a little sincerity? Kenyan communities are somewhat ethnic bound but this is a common trend worldwide where people favor the person they identify most with. Ngunyi's assertion was that the dominance of 'the house' by 'the house' was playing out negatively on 'the house' and they need to make a conscious effort to avert the negative perceptions the Kibuttz voting is playing out,simple.
