My view of J. Muturi is that of an arrogant guy and a grandstander!

It was not wise to have him as the SNA.

I personally know the SNA, very vengeful guy if you dont tow his line he will do anything to punish you. He tried with Lenny the guy who beat him as MP in 2007 but he could do little since Lenny told him to his face that he can pay him a million a month to clean his toilet, now he is doing all he can to punish JSC and other institutions that are independent but his day will come and he will have to pay for it. i have never rated him and i will never rate him whatsoever. His biggest problem with senate am sure its not the senate passe but trying to prove to Lenny that he is the king of Mbeere and has power over the whole kenya

Could it be his culture?

Why should cabinet secretaries appear before parliament and not JSC? Explain to me please...

And this shall be the lead story in keshos SN. Is it that the originator is a journalist who was doing research here or is it that there r journalists in Wazua who picks our threads and translates them to their stories?

I noted this trend too..business daily is full of stories pulled from discussions on the Investor section of Wazua, some opinions too eg the Real estate collapsing article.

Out of whose control? While I think the constitution gives the national assembly too many powers I don't think the NA is "out of control". They are just using powers they have. The JSC is not to be in anyway confused with the judiciary just like the TSC is not teachers. When summoned by the national assembly as is anticipated by law they should appear.

This is yet another conundrum manifesting itself due to the inadequacies in our law in general and the Constitution in particular. It requires men and women of goodwill to steer the Country steadily, and in a way that avoids unnecessary mess like this one.

Taking the view that Parliament can summon JSC - a body chaired by the CJ, are we also to expect that Parliament can in equal measure summon a committee or some other organ chaired by the President!
Think of National Security Council.

How healthy is that.

Certain measure of sobriety and restraint is required when the three arms engage.
