Dr. Olel left jaramogi later in the morning but phoned him at noon to be told that he was with his old friend Cllr. David Mbewa Ndede..about 4pm jaramogi told his aide and Mbewa that he was feeling week. He wanted nothing to eat and asked mbewa to call Dr. Olel..he was taken to hospital...olel, hand on head, turned to Hon James Orengo and said " jaduong obuodha Jim"..mzee is dead..After a while orengo,mbewa and olel walked out to the balcony to discuss what to do next. .( painful reminder by flame of freedom pg 640-641)
