Cattle rustling in Nyakach has been a problem for a very long time.

Too bad the culprits will never be brought to book.

I think hardly a month passes without me seeing that cattle rustling issue in Nyakach in the news. It must be stopped. The rustlers i think come from the neighbouring kericho county.

It's rampant to an extent that people who live in the area keep away from rearing cattle just to be safe.
The law enforcement officers do not offer enough security within the area too.

The rsutlers actually come from Sotik, they do it so many times, the day Nyakach people get and try to go and retrieve their cattle, you find a mini tribal clashes at the boarder which gets massive media coverage but after that nothing is done abot the rustling, a brother in-law from there told me point blank that he can't rare grade cows coz those ones belong to 'jolang'o'

Not the proper way but Mzee Nyachae and his chinkororo deals with the rustlers squarely...
