It seems the National assembly is on a continuous agenda to punish indepedent institutions that do not bow to it's authority.
First it was the SRC, which MPs failed to intimidate, then the JSC where parliament tried to disloge some of its members failure to which it has threatened to cut its funding. Then there was the media bill and before the dust can settle on that the Mps are at it again. This time they want to cut foreign funding of NGOs.

Who will be next???

All we'd ask for as Kenyans is some reason. Is it that there are no laws to be passed that have a direct impact to Kenyans? Is parliament that idle? By cutting the legs of all independent institutions, what do they wish to achieve? What powers are they seeking for? What if they are overlooked and the courts refuse to implement the laws that they pass? what would they do? they cant force the courts to act, can they?

What if treasury, in their right minds refuse to withhold the judiciary funds as parliament recommends? what do they think they can do? to which court would they take such an issue? Parliament needs to know it cant hold the country at ransom and they cant rule the country alone. they need other arms of the government to operate, not so?

Are they forgetting they can be recalled? if they antagonise the courts, wont they be more than happy to bid them good bye through such a provision? In any case, everyone is getting tired of this crop of Mpigs.

Even the PORK is now complaining that they have formed a habit of summoning his ministers every now and then to the extent that they (the ministers) cannot focus on their jobs.

I personally know the SNA, very vengeful guy if you dont tow his line he will do anything to punish you. He tried with Lenny the guy who beat him as MP in 2007 but he could do little since Lenny told him to his face that he can pay him a million a month to clean his toilet, now he is doing all he can to punish JSC and other institutions that are independent but his day will come and he will have to pay for it. i have never rated him and i will never rate him whatsoever. His biggest problem with senate am sure its not the senate passe but trying to prove to Lenny that he is the king of Mbeere and has power over the whole kenya

Which is kinda odd when you consider these two dudes are neighbors back in shags and practically grew up and played together as kids.
