And it's very sad that he 'stole' from an accident victim considering that he was also an accident victim once (as he said in his story in the standard recently).

oldest trick in the book after the judgement you get the fellow to sign 4 consent forms after the judgement....if he was to be given kshs 1m you make 2 for 500,000 which he signs first and 2 for 1m...money is usually given in cash which makes him or her excited you file the signed 1m consent in court and file the other in your records...when the guy comes claiming the other 500k unamwambie atembee....when he goes to LSK the filed consent that will be exrtracted from the courts will show he or she signed for 1million...it happens.

A friend of mine was arrested, charged in court for fraud and later won the case.He has now filed a case seeking damages.Does it mean when awarded the damages the money will be paid to the lawyer who in turn will pay him?Cant 2 cheques be issued, one for the lawyer and the other for the client?

The 2 cheque system was turned down by the lawyers now you know why....but it was also coz some clients instructed other lawyers when the case was about to conclude shortchanging the original advo...For damages you NEED to discuss the legal fees before instructing your advocate....

Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you Shame on you

Accept and Move on. Isnt Kajwang still a "respected" politician in his area many years after? Hata Olago will not even feel it.

Wajaruoz lakini...while "these people" steal tens of million, the lakers still thousand-shillings only!

If they cant even get the spelling of steal rightd'oh!

What does a man of means like him gain by stealing from a widow? It is such a shame.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.
