Anyone who watched the fearless confrontation by those samburus? Those Dare devils, telling the cops to shoot them and for a second I thought, could this be maji maji rebellion reloaded?

Anyway why were stolen cows being ferried under police escort?
A matter that could have been resolved by admitting makosa imetendeka, returning the cows to the owner, restoring confidence and trust ended up being a full scale war.

Samburus a fearless people.smile but honestly cops..

Thought the use of live ammunition on protestors was a thing of the past.
But those samburus seemed ready to bring down the police station. I saw 2 female cops with AK's run back in to escape the rowdy angry mob.

Question they want answers to-who steals their cattle?

Quote:
Over 2000 people stormed the local police station demanding the release of 25 heads of cattle that had been recovered by the police.

The deceased include Laikipia University- Samburu Campus student leader Thompson Lekishorimoi and a fourteen-year-old boy who were killed as security officers engaged the demonstrators in running battles.

The student was shot by a stray bullet and died on the spot while the other boy was attacked and hacked to death by irate protestors for unkown reasons.Pray

Trouble started early Wednesday when the morans from the Samburu community stormed Maralal police station in attempt to drive away 25 heads of cattle that were detained on allegations that they had been stolen from the neighbouring Malkis village.

Policeman beaten by mob, again.
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.
