@xyzee..JSC have a very poor PR department. Before i saw sholleis response to accusations, i was on sholeis side just because I thought if she was insisting on a public hearing, she is innocent.

After reading her response, i saw that JSC have all along been having a point but have a very weak PR department except for Ahmednassir.

JSC should learn to manage news dispatch to the public coz most people dont have the time to read these detailed accusations and responses.

She almost succeded in foolling me too at the initial stage.

True the other side was slow in disseminating info.
Remember at some point she wanted us to believe that majority of the JSC commissioners including the CJ were on her side!

Talk of a lie going half way around the world before truth starts tying its shoe laces.

Why are they not taking her to court if the allegations hold any water?

I think the right question here would be;

Has JSC instituted the process of getting her brought to book over her actions.

The answer is YES.

Let EACC finish its investigations then we can see if that won't happen.

IN SUMMARY
The taskforce, which will commence work Wednesday, is expected to prepare a report which will be made public in the next three weeks.
It seeks to establish those involved in the property transactions, the amount of money involved and owners of the property in question.
The Institute of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) has formed a taskforce to investigate the lease of property at the centre of the Judicial Service Commission’s (JSC) fallout with former chief registrar of the Judiciary Gladys Boss Shollei.

The Judiciary has in recent days been embroiled in verbal wars with Mrs Shollei over the acquisition and renting of the properties.

Architectural Association of Kenya should also come in and clear the air regarding construction contracts.

"We take people through a process and if we find them guilty, we fire them."

@maka, are the lawyers proposing Ahmednasir as a member of JSC again when his term expires? He said no one can remove him from JSC except the lawyers.

This thing is actually divided here are two messages from my pals...

(i) Ahmednasir Maalim Abdulahi, Thats Grand Mullah! He's earned my vote! Ojienda akwende uko!

(ii) Proposing what. We are kicking that m******r out. Arrogant bastard, only Mus is voting for him
And he lied that he got 50% of the vote

All said and done, a combi of Mwangangi and Ojienda at JSC is as colourless as nonsense!

Dear.........

My Name is Prof. Tom Ojienda – S.C.

I will be offering myself for election as your JSC representative during the soon to be held LSK-JSC elections. This is to let you know of my candidature and by extension to humbly request for your vote on the election date. I shall be grateful for a chance, once again, to offer our beloved society and country sober, transformative, consultative and professional contribution at the JSC.

Yours faithfully

Prof. Tom O. Ojienda – S.C.

The article in BD is silent on who commissioned the ISK to execute the task...Is it JSC or the Government???

If they are doing it on behalf of either, well and good...

If it is an independent investigations then mr Kouwor would better go slowly...

On another note, if ISK have been tasked to investigate the leasing out of property to judiciary, their mandate goes to as far as interpreting the construction contracts in addition to other agreements (eg lease). Why then would we need the AAK??
...besides, the presence of a safe alone does not signify that there is money inside...

@kaigangio, ISK is the body that regulates valuation consultancy to the public.
I think they are coming in on their own volution to give insights in to the property valuation issues raised.

AAK regulates/advocates for Architects/Quantity survey, Engineering services.
Issues raised regarding construction will need to be clarified by AAK .

I think ISK is coming in just the way here in wazua we are discussing the issue, but in this case, more authoritative discussions to aid the public, including u n me, on the legal position in the situation.
