Some leasehold properties were reclassified as investment properties thereby increasing income by Ksh 1.49 B. This leads to a 340% profit change compared to prior year. EPS increased from Ksh 5.96 to 20.36. To me,EAPC's profit is Ksh 350m down from Ksh 537m last year and the revaluation is an exeptional item. somebody is cooking figures here for whatever reason. The IFRS requires certain re-adjustments. Always compare apples to apples. Also this means the depreciation will drop since Investment Properties aren't depreciated.

Bogus company. I still wonder how a company can be making losses when the cement manufacturing industry is booming. The company will be hit hard as and when the growth in cement manufacturing slows.
