doctors may not tell you of possible side effects of these drugs like quite early menopause, growing of beards(facial hairs ) in ladies.
most of these drugs( progesterone based)attempt to make you a man.you are not engineered to be one.ni kama diesel kwa engine ya petrol ..

I've read through these posts and this is the only post that I could see is the best advice. Kudos @newfarer.

@CLK fear God and be natural. I don't know why you ask such a thing in Wazua, but if it is either of the below, then remember:

1. Fun in your holiday e.g. swimming, playing etc then I say take heart, there will be another chance Applause
2. Landing with your husband Shame on you "Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period." (Leviticus 18:19)
3. Landing with your boyfriend Shame on you Hebrews 13:4 "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous."
Deut 23:2 "No one born of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the Lord. Even to the tenth generation, none of his descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord."

Tedious. d'oh!
You really must try and sometimes reign in this temptation to proselytize all the time or jump on your religious soap box to offer advice.
That goes for you too @Mukiri.
Kenya is secular.

Sasa why include me here? Nime do what? I've avoided this thread because its SPECIFICALLY addressed to sockets and doctors, neither of which I am. SoPray

Parting shot=>If its secular, then one needs ALL info, on said topic, from all corners INCLUDING religious. Nobody forces anyone to make a decision.

Well, not having visitors, isn't always a cause for alarm. She could have stopped using a birth control method, stopped using Depo, some problems with nutrition, gained or lost weight, exercising too much (Tecla and Ndereba) or she developed cysts in her ovaries.

The only problem with this is that a lady will be unable to conceive. But if she needs a baby, there's always IVF and hormone treatment.

We needn't be afraid of pills. Actually, 1 in 5 women is on the pill. 99% of sexually active women have used contraception.

This is the info i have, alarmists!!

The implications on sexuality and relationships are also interesting.

Details please?

Sex is about power and politics, and in this case you are after some political effect.

This conversation is in a 'danger zone'. To engage further we'll need to abandon some of our most cherished values, and I doubt if it will be pleasant.

While technology is helping us get what we want, I think we must also consider how we arrive at what we want, and perhaps ask ourselves if there are 'ultimate' and shared values, or even how we evaluate what we do.

Actions have intentions, and harmony is better than control, for the latter requires a struggle against nature. And 'nature' is a construct imbued with intention. Human intention.

So it's not about being scared or not being scared of pills.

does the 99% statistic explain the growing numbers of XXXL sockets in Nairobi streets?

If you're on everyday pills, do not take the 7 day break or placebo (red) pills. Once your done with the active pills start another pack immediately.
If your not on everyday pills,I can't help you.

thought it would be wise to give feedback, walked into a pharmacy requesting for the prescription by wazua resident doctors, pharmacist gave me a reason to want to see a doctor because of other factors that needed to be considered before taking the drug, i made an emergency call to my Gynae who was kind enough to see me without an appointment, he prescribed something totally different which worked perfect. Thanks for the responses.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..
