Am looking to find out if the salary scales across all parastatals/state corporations are the same, and if so, can anyone let me know what these possibly are?

Under the Kibaki administration, civil servants benefited from improved remuneration. So much so that many new graduates actively seek out government jobs.

Salaries vary so much, even within similar pay grades in different parastatals.

True indeed you can never compare the AGs office to the DPPs different remenuration packages....you can't compare KRA to CBK staff...

Parastatals have classifications which determine their payscales. Category A (KPA, CBK) down to Category C (Catering Levy, Cotton Lint). One of the reasons why there's still no CEO at Capital Markets Authority is they are trying to move it to Category A. BTW, even in the categories, there are further classifications, like A1, A2 etc. Don't know the exact payscales.

When you get your retirement benefits is when you will know the disadvantages of the allowances being more than the basic salary.

For Medics. The current salary scale and the one pending approval by SRC. Fresh interns just out of school start at Job Group L.

Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Thanks @JGuru

County budget controllers and county budget coordinators are not county level emloyees but are the employees of office of budget controller(which is a consitutional body).Could you be having their pay scale as well?

Then you have to consider that the doctor is running a private clinic on the side where he sees at least 10 patients per day each paying 1k consultation fee. This means the doc is earning 10k per day extra or 300k per month. Though am not saying that the CBA shouldn't be implemented.
