True KDF is just a reflection of our society, and we shouldn't be shocked that they helped themselves to goodies. Kenyans under the similar circumstances do it all the time - like offloading belongings of accident victims instead of tending to them. I honestly think KDF (and by extension the security forces) is getting all this stick because they are not perceived as a kenyan outfit, but a club for the politically correct - please don't ask me to substantiate, and you can discern this from the goggles in this discussion.

KDF will look bad regardless of how they try to spin this story. If they didn't loot and drink all that booze, then a number of people who managed to break jewelry cases and drink at a restaurant counter without making a sound to be detected, got in there and did it on their watch AFTER the mall was supposedly secured.

Kwanza who says things have to be carried out in paperbags or boxes? Jewelry is small enough to fit in their uniform pockets.

The burden of proof lies with the soldiers.By now they should/would have provided a 2 second video clip showing the soldiers drinking the damn water

Why by now and not today night? Then give them a fair hearing today. They are not fools, parliament cleared them, they have their inventories of the whole situation, maybe Ms. Anyango is the thief, as for Mohas clips, nakumatt/westgate sio nduka ya mamake huko garrissa lodge, neither si ya nyanya wa Pike "the star", neither does it belong to those ODM idiots making noise in parliament!! Let's us understand the procedure followed to drink water, let us hear the other side of the story.

A true Lootenant you are going by hio matusi. You swore to protect your mother country but we can see you are doing exactly that by first protecting yourself.Poor we!

ala! is there a procedure for drinking water? d'oh!
