@Marko,
We know that at some point,power was switched on and off intermittently and therefore the CCTV cameras were not running throughout.We know KDF soldiers and the terrorists were the only groups (Safe for a few frightened victims) inside the mall.We know that a Rado shop,Fonexpress,Airtel.a pet shop,a shoe shop and the jewelery shop were "cleaned".We can say with certainity that either the terrorists or KDF looted the said shops.Since the terrosists are dead and no jewelery/valuables were recovered from them,we can safely conclude that only one group looted.That group is known to me and you.No?

Let me start here and i hope you will spin something sensible otherwise you risk a slap from the old man.

Oooops.Can't attach the picture but will try later but below is a quote from the shop manager.

Irene Anyango, manager of a Westgate jewellery shop, is one of the few people who has been allowed into the mall following the end of the siege.

"It was a nightmare… and the shop was a totally different place," she told the BBC.

Ms Anyango said 90% of the jewellery was missing from the shop, which is now flooded.

"As far as we know, for the last couple of days they were intact - we don't understand what's happening but they're not there," she said.

Kindly explain! (No marks for trying)

Good morning old man. Let us start from there, shall we?
The lady says that the jewelry disappeared. FACT. Lets us analyse the videos. ONE shows KDF soldiers entering NAKUMATT and leaving with paperbags. TRUE.
The second video shows soldiers in a jewelry shop and leaving without touching anything. TRUE.

Now if the soldiers were busy looting everything in sight while the cctv was rolling,why did they not loot the jewelry shop?

@Marko! Marko! Marko!

Are you saying we saw ALL the footage from ALL the cameras?

We saw SOME video clips from SOME cameras.

Just coz we didn't "see" it doesn't mean it never happened.

As you defend the forces, rem to tell us where/how the lost stuff got out of that mall.

Rem that.

Let us continue...

There was a clip floated earlier of a guy taking a video at artcaffe. Did you notice that the start of the video, the guys friend is busy riffling through someones handbag? Explain that away if you can. If he could be doing that what else did he do? and what else were those who had access doing too?

Another short clip shows two men busy eating cakes at java. This is while there was a lock down. They are not in military uniform. Doesn't this show that other people had access to the building? Ironically that video has only been shown once.

Before you jump to conclusions,please look at the whole picture and not part of a whole. Do some research and you will come out the wiser.

I just believe in people being objective.

The Military spokesman Major E K Chirchir via social media has promised to issue details of what transpired at Westgate via a media blog.

The military are also scheduled to hold a press conference tomorrow 23/10/13 on the same.

This should interest anyone looking to get to the bottom of what really happened at Westgate during the military operation.

Why are we busy pointing fingers at KDF yet as a society we lost it long time agoShame on you Shame on you . An oil tanker overturns and kenyans rush to the scene to help themselves, even sachangwan is not enough to scare them. Any truck overturning on our roads is sure to be looted of its cargo. Accident victims have their pockets emptied by so called good samaritans.
This is the society we live in, so why do we expect KDF to be any different from us???? Just asking and please lets not start with the holier than thou attitude.They are just a reflection of us.

Right now, no one is questioning why westgate happened,and bringing people to account. Trust you me, westgate will be forgotten once we are done with accusing KDF of looting.
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.... Leo Buscaglia

Is this a lynch mob?

Let the accused have their total say and when done we can ask relevant questions and demand action where none has been taken.
