I have not cliamed the video is "fake", Laughing out loudly YES the soldiers were carrying paperbags, question, what is in the paperbags, bread? beer? pillows? or valuables? You see, you know nothing about those paperbags and where they were taken and what was inside. Did they go with them to their barracks and keep money under the bed? or deposit it in banks or did they throw it in the military lorries and share it there, do you know anything about soldiers bank accounts? The banks reported receiving their cash.

I agree with you to the extent that as the governed in this democracy we MUST go beyond the 'Jicho Pevu' mindset exhibited by Moha who wants to sell Standard Media products at times at the cost of the truth.

Why did he chose to ignore this evidence you have availed just to balance the story?
With access to Atul Shah of Nakumatt, why did he not put to them a direct question on what was leaving that building using their branded paperbags? All he was asking is the general value and blanket loss of stock after the operation.

In a maturing state like Kenya, we MUST acknowledge the great acts of bravery and professionalism exhibited by our Military in the same breathe we are attacking them here. Hence, I like what you have done to the extent you provide the same digital evidence Moha and company chose to ignore so as to suit their narrative. Disenfranchising KDF wholesale like we are doing will negate those following their code of conduct. We must be seen to want to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Only a thorough investigation by the Military Police on what went perceivably wrong at Westgate will settle the Kenyan psyche at this point. This is happening but unfortunately, the Moha's of this world did not bother find out.

As for the KDF, they need to change tact on this one as a PR job on this one and admit that something went wrong that they are aware and acting upon it swiftly. Ultimately, Kenyans are groping in the dark and the Media are now peddling information as they do but KDF have to own the logical narrative.

That is the notion i was looking for, why is the story targeted at humiliating the army and NOT the condemning terrorist, actually it tells us very little about them other than claiming all Muslims caught for investigations in the aftermath were innocent, and showing the terrorist "humbly" praying where he describes the acts in the Islamic name. The only condemnation comes from one of the victims, let him show proof that the military stole, rather than showing a clip of men carrying paperbacks in file(loose formation), and then "planting the idea" in the heads of the audience that it is a theft going on, if he can show the stealing, i will applaud him and call him a hero.

There you have it! Of course police/shop-owner and other busy bodies like namu and ali were walking around after the siege, you know police in Kenya is just another name for a thief, the foreigner probably mistook the police in camouflage for army.
