In short, it would take him 266 years to make 1.6 B without even spending a dime on his salary! Acheni mchezo. So according to you those who have made it in life have hoarded their salos to their achievement? Ha ha...at one time in my life i was earning a 20k salo but my side show was earning close to 10 times that. @InnovateGuy, no one ever gets rich from a salary. @Mawinder I know some bankers peep at peoples bank statements but surely who has one bank account? Kama ukona moja basi not everyone has one because the baada ya kazi businesses that have their own accounts....ile yako ya kuuza miwa umeweka kwa ac ya salo? Issue is, he has a FULLTIME job as a govt MD earning 0.5m yet he is putting up a mall worth 1.6B. How now? Had he resigned like 5years ago and built his dynasty over that time, it would have been a little bit understandable. In this case, it is not. Kwani govt employees cant own farms, or firms or import stuff on the side like the rest? The only problem would be if he transacted with the state organization otherwise its completely in order for him to own property and transact business. Wachaneni the witch hunt the man is simply street smart which you arent. And for him to get to where he is not he was not just sitting and watching waiting for a salary...bure! Boss, I have nothing against guys using the right channels to make their lives better. I'm against embezzlement, misappropriation and plunder of government resources. Is your guy "clean"? What do you have on him? Your argument was that based on his salary of 0.5M he cant put up a 1.6B mall...My view is that ones salary should not be a measure of wealth, there are other ways of making money.
