Please, the constitution was not sitting on its buttocks and getting paid.

People were doing that.

That constitution you are abusing now allows you as a citizen to take this matter up. But you won't.

You will blame Uhuru, ICC, Raila, constitution etc but not the people doing the robbery without violence.

This is squarely on the JSC and whoever was approving those bills.

I had a lot of respect for you alma, but lately you're starting to irritate many people here on wazua.

Where in my post have I mentioned Uhuru, ICC or Raila?

How hard is it for you to understand my point? The constitution that you're defending so hard is a flawed one: it's crafters thought that giving financial independence to institutions like the Judiciary would transform them for the better. The reality though, couldn't be more different. People have taken the increased funding as a licence to loot the taxpayer's coffers without mercy.

There is the story of the farmer who refused to go to farm because his Jembe was not sharp enough.

Do you know it?

The constitution has done nothing to you. Do not blame the framers because you probably voted Yes for it.

The constitution cannot steal. Neither can it loot.

People loot.

These people are the ones who you should be fighting. This constitution gives you the mechanism to do so. But you won't will you. You will blame the constitution.

Jguru is right on the thread above. But mind you, if this was the other constitution, jguru would be having his balls squeezed at Nyayo house.

Blame the PEOPLE who are YOUR leaders.

Leave the constitution out of it.

As for irritating people on wazua.....Join the queue. Mko wengi.

All constitutions are flawed...there is no perfection in any of them, lacunas exist...but what can we do as citizens?Mostly we just sit back and let the fat cats have their day...

JSC is supposed under its own rules of engagement to meet not more than 3 times a week. How many times were they meeting again?

Instead to maximise on allowances they would meet as the FULL JSC four times.

Second. They are supposed to create sub commitees so that allowances would not surpass a certain threshold...

I am tempted to join in the stone throwing...then I wonder, am I angry at Jsc for overpaying themselves or am I angry because it is someone else eating and not me? Would I act different?
