According to the new power tariff angreement,KPLC will now be buying from kengen at ksh 2.42 per unit,up from 2.36. This translates to additional .06 cents per unit.

With the sales per year of about 5 GWh,that means an additional yearly income of about Ksh 300 million ( 5,000 x .06) for Kengen .

Does this warrant a significant share price movement considering the dismal half year performance?

For profits which are expected to rise,amongst other jargons,u can try outlook/projection.
