UK's defense counsel have followed proper procedure and made their submission. Why not let the court review and interpret the legal submission for a ruling?

What I have never understood fully is how Ambassador was let go yet they were co-accused. Same issues...Who can shed a light on that?

Boss this is a political kangaroo court. They needed to have their man (Sellout) as President, but Kenyans showed them a FAT, LONG, MIDDLE FINGER. Relax UK is here to stay. They might have a chance in 2032 smile but then again, will they be in existence? Laughing out loudly And those African subordinates working there are really stupid, they don't see the big picture.

MAMA Is defeated.

Is it myself alone? Are guys reading the Judges body language and facial expression as they Keenly listen to the Proceedings as both sets of lawyers as well as the witnesses speak?

Cant you see clearly, that they are tired of the shoddy Prosecution (MAMA) Job?

Cant you see them clap and say "carry on bro" as Khan and Kigen talk?

BABA, MAMA and Company Goggles are dark for sure.

All these ICC judges need to do is rule in favour of UK's application which is sensible and kill this unnecessary speculation. It requires he appears physically only at the key stages which are outlined in the application. He has cooperated all along.

Precedent is very very clear. NO SEATING HEAD OF STATE HAS EVER BEEN HURLED TO A COURT, A FOREIGN ONE EVEN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. He has a responsibility to Kenyans first. He has been cooperative and the application is sensible.

ICC tuheshimiane.

Kenyans are now victims of the ICC. We elected our leaders to serve us for five years-Deputy president will now serve me for less than five years. Then the president- This is violating the fundamental principles of natural justice. By the way where can the court and its judges be sued........

Meanwhile, the calls to have the trials taken to an International Court like Arusha, if not a reformed Kenyan Judiciary, were flatly rejected but ICC somehow allowed Gaddafi's son to be tried in Libya where US NAVY SEALs can raid the streets and snatch suspects at will or now where the goddamn Prime Minister himself has been kidnapped!!!!!! Gadaffi's son really wanted to be taken to the hague, where his own safety is almost guaranteed. ICC refused and I'm almost certain the lad is a dead man walking. ......of course the west wants him dead...

Let me get this clearly,

UMK cannot go to the hague because he is president? ? What came first? ICC or the presidency?

Going by the same logic, can i kill both my parents and ask a court to consider my new status as an orphan?

Our people have a saying that the president would understand very well; "mwambirira muuru no wa itimu" loosely translated to say "the only time its undesirable to be a fast one, is when a spear is thrown your way"

I participate - depending on the cause - on AVAAZ.

I have helped, added my voice, my influence on global social, political, economic issues like SOPA, Standing With Edward Snowden, an Anti-Women Gag Rule and so on.

Today I got an email.

Desmond Tutu is very concerned that African leaders are losing their marbles. He wants me to add my voice against this losing of marbles.

Many are this very moment signing the petition to 'Stop The Next Genocide'. The petition will be handed over to African leaders tomorrow, Friday, when they meet.

All the names of individuals concerned about their actions will also be given them. They are targetting 200k people and are almost reaching them all. They might even exceed it.

This is just a heads up on whats going on from other players on the world stage as this debate goes on here locally.

This is the petition.

Quote:

Dear Avaaz friends,

In 2 days, African leaders could vote to withdraw from the International Criminal Court, crippling one of the world's best hopes for confronting genocide and crimes against humanity. I know together we can stop this. Join me in urging the voices of reason within the African Union to stand up for justice and accountability -- let's protect this great institution:

SIGN THE PETITION
In just 2 days’ time, African leaders could kill off a great institution, leaving the world a more dangerous place.

The International Criminal Court (ICC) is the world’s first and only global court to adjudicate crimes against humanity. But leaders of Sudan and Kenya, who have inflicted terror and fear across their countries, are trying to drag Africa out of the ICC, allowing them the freedom to kill, rape, and inspire hatred without consequences.

I know that together we can change this. But we have to join hands and call on the voices of reason at the African Union (AU) – Nigeria and South Africa – to speak out and ensure that the persecuted are protected by the ICC. Join me by adding your name to the petition now and share it with everyone -- when we have hit 1 million our petition will be delivered straight into the AU conference hall where Africa’s leaders are meeting in Addis Ababa.

https://secure.avaaz.org...cc/?bSTxQeb&v=30047

In my years of work, life and travel, the fight for justice has been a long and arduous one. I have seen the very worst in Darfur and Rwanda, but also the very best with the reconciliation in South Africa. During this journey, I have seen great gains made that protect the weak from the strong and give us all hope. The ICC is one of these beacons of hope.

This threat to the ICC started precisely because the court was doing its job. It charged Kenya's Deputy President for killing people who rallied against him during an election and Sudan's President for murdering women and children in Darfur. Now Kenya and Sudan are lobbying all of Africa to pull out of the court and destroy its chance of success.

But in Darfur, Congo, Cote D’Ivoire and Kenya, the ICC has played a key role in bringing hope to those terrified by the armies, militias and madmen that have waged war against the innocent. It’s a light in the darkness that cannot be allowed to go out.

The main argument by some leaders with a guilty conscience is that the ICC is a Western witch-hunt as most of the investigations have happened in Africa. But this couldn’t be further from the truth. This was an institution that was created by 20 African countries, 5 of the court’s 18 judges are African and the chief prosecutor is African.

Friday is a key judgement day. Will our African leaders stand on the side of justice or injustice? With survivors and fallen victims or with tyrants and oppressors? This is the moment to choose. Join me in calling on African leaders to stand on the side of justice and support the International Criminal Court:

https://secure.avaaz.org...cc/?bSTxQeb&v=30047

I've seen some of the brightest moments in human history, moments where we together brought hope to so many. This is our chance to do that again, together.

With hope and appreciation for this community,

Desmond Tutu
