Is Ombachi still injured? Not seeing him in the squad.

Very tough group indeed and hope the boys will show how much rugby has grown and is still growing in Kenya. Main Cup semis should be the target here

That pool for Kenya is actually easy. Have you looked at the other pools ?

Problem is Kenya still has no coach.

Before we return to Festival rugby (known to all as sevens rugby)

Is there a rugby purist in the house who missed the AB's v Boks test on Saturday. That is the best test I have ever watched in my life (I have never missed an AB, SpringBok or Ausi test since 1995).

If you missed, please make a point of watching the repeats during the week. I can bet SS will be showing it atleast on a daily basis.

That is the best rugby game ever played.

The spectacle of the day was that 747 that flew just above the stadi with the words "go springbooks" written on it...Amazing...

Spell for me the big difference between the performance of Ayimba and that of Friday save for the fact that Friday was given much more financial support as opposed to when Ayimba was in charge!

Clearly Kenya played much better and with more consistency when Friday came in. I think the article above has touched on some of the issues with local coaches: favouritism, poor selection, inability to enforce discipline. Also the fact that the Union simply does not respect them so they cannot make demands about how the team should be supported.

Ayimba and Friday: Number 5 finish in a series, one main cup finals in a series, a semi final in the world cup.....pretty similar if you ask me!!!!!

In which year did Kenya finished 5th under Benja ? I think his best finish was 6th in 2009.

Also Friday only had one year with the team. Had he stayed several years as Benja did, I think he woulda taken Kenya to several more cup finals maybe even won.
