Boss, there is some serious art out there. Leather, canvas etc I've even been privy to seeing some being made down at the coast.. They sell as is, you frame it.yourself. Good money too.

Lakini avoid those batik hangings if they are not framed. I know quite a number of people who still have them rolled up waiting to be framed years and years later. I would avoid sandals since you dont know sizes and jewelry for for the women since tastes vary. I would do things like masks, candle holders, place mats and fabric (lessos, kitenge, kikoi), letter openers, paper weights, key chains, picture frames.

I noticed Americans love concentrated coffee so i go for Java beans and kawaida Ketepa tea, if i want instant i go for Nescafe over Dormans.
The t-shirts i get at maasai market, there is also a couple of shops at Hilton and Corner house, karibu na wimpy, but they will be pricy there compared to going to Maasai market, which rotates as follows, Saturday CBD hapo parking lot ya Court, Wednesday Capital Center, Thursday at the Junction. i know they go to Yaya and also Uchumi Langata not sure the days. Also try Westlands, near the Sarit Center roundabout as you go down to sohos.
