From my understanding of how GoK works there must be a cabinet secretary (read minister) who sourced for those names and delivered them to UK's desk with recommendations.

So the question. Is who are the relevant ministers /cabinet secretaries?
Leave man UK alone

I agree, Uhuru is not in control of executive branch of garment. He delegates too much power. At the end of the day, he will be held accountable by the Kenyan people.

Justice and fairness should not only be done, but also be seen to be done. Fairness includes public perception as an ingredient. And that was one area that Kibs failed. If the rate continues, UK will have failed the country. Let fairness be seen to be done, and be done. My 2 cents...

My only problem is that most appointees are old Wazees. He should have at least some guys in their 30’s irrespective of the region they come from..
The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem

There is something about age, qualification and experience.

See what Ole has done.

All in all I also wish to see a balanced face of Kenya where possible.

Is it possible to know the shortlisted persons for those positions and their qualifications?

Lets get them from the first list to the altered ones upto the last and how they zeroed in on the appointed ones.

Sometimes we ropokwa here without facts.

Above all this are political appointments so you work with those you are politically connected and from the last elections, choices are limited.

Ole for me is the example for incompitence all in the name of regional balancing.

Ofcourse CORD strongholds should forget as they are likely saboteurs so cannot be entrusted.

@Big Chic, get it together. Are you suggesting that if someone is from Machakos, Makueni or Kakamega they should not be ministers just because they are from percieved CORD area? What is happening to you?
