Clearly he is wearing political goggles. He has obviously been paid by somebody to make that tweet. That's his job, introducing political angles in everything. Seems he has gone back inside agwambo's pocket from where he emerged in 2012. So who WANTS these posts and have paid MN? I have a question for this Mutahi person. What if the NIS had informed the cops of an apparent attack but the cops dint follow up on the intelligence? Its not the work of the NIS to go after the idiots but the police. I hear this is what happened.. This does not excuse them. There work does not stop at relaying messages. Real intelligence includes stopping crimes. If Sonko is to be believed then Gichangi should be packing his bags. I think you are very wrong. We need to first determine the ROLE OF NIS as enshrined on the katiba and any subsidiary legislation, then start throwing stones. My little knowlwdge informs me that STOPPING crime is not their role, their job is to PROVIDE INTEL to any concerned authorities, and its upto those authorities to act on it. If they actually provided the intel and the Police failed to act on it, we need to know why........was it due to excessive false alarms that even masked the actual target and derailed/diverted the police efforts?? This may not be the right topic to listen to an activist. Kindly note. They are busybodies, and rarely have any facts. TULIA.........UFUNZWE!

To be fair to the man he was among the first to arrive at the scene. He came with his own AK47 and coordinated initial response. He also tweeted all over warning people to avoid Westgate. Kimaiyo was right to come in ready with a Gun.. He is former RECCE, having served with Presidential escort and commander of GSU, so he is familiar with the training. Kitambi tu ndo imeongezeka, but he was ready and willing to get a piece of the action. though protocol haikubali. thats why he was barred. For those asking about RECCE. They are not your normal GSU chafua chafua with rungus chasing university students. They are Israeli trained to handle Westgate type of situations. On any other normal day, they will be guarding the president and visiting VIP's A question you have been evading. WHY DID THEY FAIL TO FINISH THE JOB???? Why were they withdrawn and why was KDF called in???? What transpired??? Still waiting. You said KDF screwed this entire mission. Still waiting. TULIA.........UFUNZWE!

BBI will solve it :)

C&P...Facebook Nakumatt employee provided a light moment during the rescue mission. When the Special Forces broke into the beer section of the supermarket, he jumped out from his hiding place, his hands in the air and shouted," mimi ni kulewa tu.." he was rescued.
This guy was at the right place at the right time!!!

It was reported that Kimaiyo wore his AK and helmet and was going to personally tackle the terrorists. He was stopped by juniors. I wonder why they did not allow him. If they did, his successor would apply lesson 101 in management - equip and motivate your subordinates for delegation.

12.30 pm gunmen started firing in westgate until 3.30 pm situation being managed by civilians, a few plainclothes, and reservists and mystery mzungus that dont exist. 3.30ish a group known as anti terrorism unit arrived and stormed the building. On scene says they confirm to have cleared basement, ground, 2nd and third floors. Many people rescued from here on...most survivors rescued around this time. Most corroborate this saying they were hiding for between 3 and 4 hours. 5.30pm army arrives, atu told to stand down. Army hold positions gained by atu successfully. 11.00 pm volunteers confirm army told to retreat and give up all ground held. 6.00 am army re-enter westgate to find terrorists all over the place. From Sunday morning the place becomes a tragedy.
This is my recollection. Pls don't shoot me, but try add corrections etc etc.
Lets build a solid timeline and see what really happened.
Recce company? The Israeli special forces (the Sayeret)? I'm convinced they were there.... I'm assuming recce company = atu = radiation squad etc. Volunteers confirm armed forces other than kenyan on scene, but say they didnt go in. Pls dont shoot me, correct me if in wrong. Nope. Recce coy are a GSU sub-unit. ATPU is a regular police unit. Do you recall when each unit arrived on scene? I dont think recce were there. Pls dont shoot me, correct me if im wrong. If you ever saw guys in blue jeans and black bullet proof vests? that is the RECCE squad. they are supposed to be in blue. Infact they at one point had the upper floor in control. anybody remember hearing the 2nd and 4th floor are in control, the 3rd floor was not? That was courtesy of the recce squad Those are the ones I saw. What time was that? Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming
