If they actually provided the intel and the Police failed to act on it, we need to know why........was it due to excessive false alarms that even masked the actual target and derailed/diverted the police efforts?? As expected...a lot of Monday Morning quarterbacking. Experts in security, yet the closest one has come to a shooting scene is paint balling. The thing is, this is not a movie scene where the hero runs across with bullets hitting the ground below and wall behind him. This is automatic firepower capable of easily crossing through 1000 human balls without breaking. No problem with asking questions and analysing the situation, but if the information you have is not FACTUAL, we aint getting anything useful going on. Dealing with an enemy who's artillery you dont know, what kind of training they have had, knowing their ultimate motive is to die last, and someone who probably knows the terrain better than you requires steel balls. Unfortunately most have wobbly (or no) balls and we can only sit behind a machine and criticize. If someone has factual information, bring it on the table and let wazuans have an informed discussion. Reminds me of those guys when watching football will shout...uuuurrrggggg..si angechapa left!Ingeingia! Brari fuu....nani alikwambia???! Sometimes it boils down to split seconds decisions and unless you are God, mistakes are bound to happen.

Recce company? The Israeli special forces (the Sayeret)? I'm convinced they were there.... I'm assuming recce company = atu = radiation squad etc. Volunteers confirm armed forces other than kenyan on scene, but say they didnt go in. Pls dont shoot me, correct me if in wrong. Nope. Recce coy are a GSU sub-unit. ATPU is a regular police unit. Do you recall when each unit arrived on scene? I dont think recce were there. Pls dont shoot me, correct me if im wrong. If you ever saw guys in blue jeans and black bullet proof vests? that is the RECCE squad. they are supposed to be in blue. Infact they at one point had the upper floor in control. anybody remember hearing the 2nd and 4th floor are in control, the 3rd floor was not? That was courtesy of the recce squad What exactly did they mean by being "in control" (Kimayo kept repeating the same thing from Sato to Monday) and why couldn't they finish the job as already pointed out. Who is their commanding Officer, Kimaiyo? I might be wrong but by my count they were not more than 10 .....hardly enough! As someone has already pointed out we are still not sure what is the exact mandate of this RECCE squad, mara wako Buru Buru dealing with kawaida criminals next minute its Presidential escort now ni mambo ya terrorists. Btw since there's a Kenya Anti-Terrorism Police Unit, what role did they play.... Have you watched the clip on what they did at Buru? That should have been the job of the police.. but they watch too many movies and kept shooting at everything else but the thug in the house.. Recce came and i think 10 minutes flat.. came out to ask the cops to go pick the body..
