I wonder what John Allan Namu and Mohammed Ali are thinking. As much as I do not like them because of the Kabuga issue which they never apologized or even dared to correct the facts, I watched the documentary about suspected terrorists disappearance but I wondered if their aim was to advocate for a judicial process when the suspect are arrested or to incite muslims against the state and expose those who are helping to fight terrorism to terrorist.

They way they kept on airing sentiments from suspects relatives that it is Muslims who were being targeted and they way they kept showing many different photo's of a Muslim NSIS officer made me wonder if they were on the payroll of those who are working hard to harm us.

It is like they were telling Muslims who would buy the idea that they were being targeted that, " this is the photo of your Muslim brother and enemy who betrays you to the government".

Am I the only one that thought so?

tassia since they shot all the terrorists and jailed their children, where did this ones come from?

Trust me, I know you don't know John Allan and Mohammed Ali, but they aren't terrorists I can assure you. Neither did they let Samantha go twice.

How did the terrorists manage to carry gun power to last them 4 days?? Last evening at my local someone was swearing that they must have rented a shop at westgate to enable them get in the ammunition in bits by bits d'oh! d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

Porojo. Have you dealt with KNIGHTFRANK.I have. vetting IS Tops before they give you space. Show me any tenant in their malls who is not a market leaders and a known brand. They basically reserve and call for space to who is who. This argument is silly!

Silly argument but logical.. Think about the ammunition they had and how long it lasted. how did they get it in??

through a car in the basement

If 10 foreigners can 'freely' store the weapons in say eastleigh, that have been imported all the way from Somalia via Kenyan roads, with/without fake Kenyan ID/passport, load them and drive a car all the way to westgate mall on material day and queue till the gate, then they can begin firing at the gate/entrance and drive the loaded car in as the others firing walk in through the gate.

@Much.
If you remember well the CDF was categorical this was an International Terrorist group in operation. He may have been alluding to the fact that this may not have been the work of rag-tag alshabab militia we are so used to, infact their involvement in this particular hit may have been very minimal though they were quick to grab the "credit".Wazua hayo. Westgate is still an active crime scene as of late this morning- there was a journalist video showing a body being carried out from the action. Then check this morning pictures - http://s1.reutersmedia.n...300&r=CBRE98N0VNW00

I never said that they did what you are imagining I said. Kwani you have information that they shot all the terrorists and jailed all their children? Haiya, please let us know? Have I said the journalist are terrorists? Have I said they let Samantha go twice?

The stories coming out of Westgate expose the weaknesses in the fight against terror. There is the story of the guy who was rescuing people while police in bullet proof vests were hiding..http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-24206688..And we saw on live television how effective civilian licensed gun owners were in helping evacuate the mall. But at the heart of this story is; 1. corruption 2. Laxity - It was clear from the start that tenants were involved in the attack based on how well they seemed ti understand the building 3. A forgotten fire at JKIA which probably allowed some of the attackers to sneak in through the airport 4. A hapless security force ...there are multiple stories of attackers who passed through various police checkpoints only to be arrested as they were about to board a plane...but the alarm was raised by civilians. Which leads me to ask, how many will have escaped from under the noses of police? This was the time to suspend all niceties and treat everyone (including innocent Kenyans like you and me) as suspects. But you know what people, it is up to us Kenyans to step up and protect our country. Cursed be the owner of those two cars which are said to have ferried the scum to Westgate; and cursed be the man or woman who may have reviewed and authorised the tenancy agreements.

The tenant must have been a proxy for the terrorists- a 'legit' business person. As long as he presented legitimate papers wouldn't it be very hard therefore to know the true motive?

Agree, we can float around theories of what might have happened but its prudent to seriously think hard and cross check the same, I have no facts myself and so I can not speculate but you don't have to be a tenant to walk around the mall and learn the layout, plus the weapons route has not yet been established to conclude corruption and also police work well with civilian information.

while I agree there needs improvements, but so far the only disappointment I have is with the way information is being handled.

Nakujua you are saying that we are helpless and that terrorism cannot be prevented. You are wrong.

I am not too interested in arguments but you need to read the Suppression of terrorism Act and the Anti-Money Laundering Act to understand KYC, due diligence. In short Nakujua, if you have rental space in the country and you rent it to someone, you need to know their background, who they are, how they will pay rent and where they get money from. If you are not, you are letting this country down. Your attitude is what has brought us where we are.

Just because akina Muhammed don't make your gov't sleep easy, doesn't mean that you start peddling low level thinking all over.

These are good citizens who expose the rot in the people you want us to adore. It's ok to not like them. It is wrong to say they are in the payroll of terrorists. You should be ashamed of yourself.
