Going thru the posts here am just shocked. Ati Americans dont fear/ think their govt like we do???? Are you kidding me? Just interact with them and you'll be shocked, they fear everything, immunization, drawing blood, even some suspect some insects in their yards are drones coming to spy on them. They know very well that if you're among the minority (Black, Asian) you are bound not to get a fair trial - Travon Martin. One thing they wouldn't do is to support any American to be tried in a foreign land. Remember the Officer who fired shots to innocent people in a village in Afghanistan? A local example, when that embassy employee killed a Kenyan on the road on reckless driving, he was smuggled out (new passport/identity) and there's nothing you can do. That other gal who was suspected to kill her boyfriend in Italy, she was tried and released...alot of interference from the US "observers". Now Italy has fresh evidence but dont expect the US to release her, hio imeisha. Even the Nigerian Briton who was arrested at the border on his way to Somalia, was arrested here never tried but released to be tried home.
We as Africans dont know what that meaning sovereignty is. If you've lived with Britons, you'll notice that they learn from a young age that "Britannia rules the waves Britons shall NEVER be slaves".
If the ICC is really an establishment that cares about humanity, why is it that there's no mention of Asad? Its been 2 years and the happenings there are worse than those that happened here. They are even threatening to charge Kagame even though Rwanda is not a signatory to the statute,...smh.
Another question, why is it that the prosecutor hasn;t made any progress about the case brought forth by Lumumba's son when asked to investigate the assassination of Patrice Lumumba? Guess what Belgium wants to "re-open" the case ha!!
