I didn't think it through.

Symbols, you're questions led me to an interesting find.

I found even deeper understanding of the 'traditional philosophy' of the 'Afrikana', and the Kingdom of heaven.

Thinking together si hatia.

Go on.

It's that second question. What is the ego trying to defend?I'm taken aback by it or the implications posed by the possible answers.

It's the mirror again. One is often forced to look away, because the vampire begins to show its teeth. It wants to suck the other's blood. Defending the ego is vampirism, the dance of the undead.

The vampire wants to live, at all odds, for eternity, but it can't live and let live. It doesn't know how, and it's days are numbered by a 'silver bullet'.

Such is the selfish being.

Does one defend the ego or does the ego defend itself?

Both ways @symbols! The self defends the ego, and the ego, it's self.

@Tycho,tukutane wapi? I promise not to bring a shrink

Kukutana si kuona pua, na wapi pazuri kuliko hewani kwenye nyumba za fikra?

But perhaps I should ask, 'where would you prefer to meet me'?

You have given the answer perhaps. 'Where there's no shrink'. The shrink in your head. Suspension of judgement, and blowing with the wind.

Anywhere then. As long as conditions are met.

I find it funny.Emotion is the only global language we share yet the most ambiguous.

Emotion isn't ambiguous. There are two 'centers'; 'eros' and 'thanatos', and their equilibrium points.

Man is complex, but not so complex as to remain mysterious.

Man can be understood.

Hence education.

What aspects can be understood and what role does education play?
