Looks like there is big business going on around the Hague amongst all the STAKE HOLDERS.

What if the ICC is bribing the witnesses so that it can make a peaceful exit from these messed up cases????

How witnesses exit hit Bensouda case

Quote:
The source said the prosecution was intent on starting the case with the Kiambaa church killings to offer a powerful beginning to the trial because the burning of the church shook the world and was reminiscent of the Rwanda genocide.

This, according to well-placed sources, was the approach the prosecution was keen on taking — that the Kiambaa attack was planned Rwanda style — to give the trial of Mr Ruto and Mr Sang a powerful, emotive start.

However, it turned out that the three witnesses had lied and further investigations were pointing to a scenario that the Kiambaa arson was the work of hooligans who could not be easily linked to Mr Ruto.

“The prosecution now believes that the attackers were mainly young men who seemed to have acted spontaneously ... it may not have been a planned assault,” the source said.

According to Ms Bensouda’s case plan, the first three were to be “insider witnesses” who had taken part in the crime but had taken a plea bargain only to withdraw just before the trial started.

Did you know only one witness can be used to nail someone...just one.

It seems the witnesses have adopted a new slogan: Show me the cash. The highest bidder wins.

Lets wait to hear what the cook witness has to say tomorrow. Hope she got the map of the house right and will not let down Madam Bensouda.

I don't buy the theory that witnesses are being paid off or threatened to withdraw from testifying.

I think they are just acting like normal people.

Given enough time, normal people heal and begin to forgive.

Five years down the road, Many of the victim witnesses have healed and they don't see the point of going to court.

Is it so difficult to conceptualise that; or must there be some sinister under-hand dealings all the time?

Most people are just ordinary. Keep that in mind.

Under normal circumstances, a Kikuyu witness has forgiven Ruto for helping deliver the presidency to them. Monetary inducement is just a bonus.

Its always said,
A GOOD LAWYER KNOWS THE LAWS BUT A BETTER LAWYER KNOWS THE JUDGES.

At the ICC, it seems,
A PERFECT SUSPECT KNOWS THE WITNESSES.
Receive with simplicity everything that happens to you.” ― Rashi
