Not commenting about ESPN, but about EPL.

Watching soccer / football, is not really my thing, but for those who watch, it's true that Aljazeera sports has EPL, they got the rights for about $300 million.

Are decorders that work with the cards available locally? any wazuan using this service in Kenya?


The supported cards are: Irdeto & Viaccess

Check you decoder's manual / spec's - maybe via their site.

I have three decoders -Multichoice (DSD1110), Zuku and Startimes (No dish). Will any of these work? Will my small aperture DSTV/Zuku dish work?

The short answer is no. The DiShThieVes and Zuku decoders are locked by the respective providers to receive only the frequencies they transmit in. For FTA purposes, you'll have to get a proper FTA decoder, one that is not locked to any service provider. In so far as satellite (DVB-S2)transmission is concerned, the startimes decoder, being DVB-T2, is of no consequence.

Your small dish may work but will be prone to frequent outtages especially in rainy or cloudy weather. In order to weather-proof your installation, a bigger dish of at least 120cm offset or 180cm prime focus) will be required. Generally, the bigger the dish, the better.
