Reminds me of a guy who signed a contract then came back to complain.......This is one case where ODM is acting like a silly child. I may love RAO but that toilet thing got to his head........Follow the law or quit like Karua!

TB,

And if i was the one being shafted,i would do so silently other than continue exposing myself to further ridicule and embarassment..............Of cause there are other available options and you know them. The problem is that this war is not about me and you. It's about them.

@ Njunge,if you were the final authority on this matter, and the options are as they are,who do you think will add value to Kenya? and who would you select?

@The General,

I would pick Obi or Mukiha......Unfortunately (Or is it fortunately?),neither of them is an MPig and hardly am i the one with the final authority......Damn!!

Tusker Baridi, give us a break. mara you celebrate raila playing PNU and calling it realpolitik then you tell us you are a mouthpiece for reforms! Reforms are driven by principles, realpolitik is not. But you are right about raila's game being to look like he is not in government while he actually is. of course you forgot to mention that this will work because he is too clever and we are all stupid and cannot see through his scheme.

@KIMANDERU.........stop watching alot of AlwaysTV,see how it has affected your reasoning.Until recently you used to think straight and ask intelligent questions. The way you asked this question is exactly how KTN would have put it.'Ati WHO SHOULD HEAD HBC RAILA OR KALONZO?'Ofcourse its Rao going by the dictates of the national accord and the will of the people.

Which is more dirty, the pig or Kenyan mp?

Which section of the accord?please quote it makes Marende's work easier.

Who are the people expressing that will?

This whole saga tells you how politically inastute Gen Kiguoya and his advisers are. If I was him,i'd have given RAO this role chap-chap.

I mean just close your eyes and look at the important stuff that RAO has gotten involved in and what mess he has made of it. Mau forest, unga subsidy,rvr... Gen Kig has ofcourse made bigger blunders but his biggest is giving RAO reasons to whine all the time.

Common sense dictates that it should be Raila.

But common sense has never stopped any kenyan politician.

Seriously, for the sake of the country MK needs to do the right thing for once in his life,he owes it to RAO to explain why he feels 8% should be HBC and not him.

Secondly,RAO needs to find new strategists, his current ones with the 'charge doctrine' are just not working. Seriously, putting up a good fight is all and well but victory is even better. He has got to figure out how to manoeuvre around obstacles.

I guess if you can't win with facts, you can always pen bile-laced,xenophobic rants to distract everyone.

If I were Kibaki,I would give it Raila, give ODM the head for all commitees. Heck, give them 80% membership. Then go back and play golf.........Or even better give it to Ruto.....sometimes when the kid asks for something, give it to them.....then let us see what ODM will be complaining about next..That's just me.

HI Sk'ers,

When it comes to politics we are all in most cases wrong since we approach our arguments from the stock 'investing' mind-set. Why bother to guess the other persons thoughts .... my intuition is wait until Tuesday 6.30pm and you will be surprised how well behaved the MPigs are and they will agree to disagree but they will be a HBC ..... in fact as Marende said ..... it has nothing to do with parliament but the Executive!

Happy weekend and spare your emotions for something better in life ... reflection on self, love your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend etc and there is more to life than Mpigs discussions. Don't tell me its important because life goes on whether they call election today or 2012 or whenever we cannot hold our breathe for them - else we would suffocate waiting .... at least they are earning as they battle .

thanks for correction Obi - noted

If MK did really consult RAO this problem should have not come up in the first place.RAO is just reminding MK that there should be consultations at all times.Never take your spouse/pertner for granted in any decision making or you'll end up in a never ending arguements.

Secondly concerning consultation if MK consultated Lucy about his relationship with Wamboi i dont think he could have ended up in the national TV defending his relationship with her.In conclusion please always consult if you are in any partnerships.

After this, what next? Will RAO demand to spend at least 2 nights a week at state house or demand that we call him president from time to time? How far can they take this so called equality? The only way is through the law whether as expressly stated in the accord or constitution. Or else he might also demand to have equal access to Lucy. Where does it all end?

@ Kasheshi..

Thats a good one......Its funny how the likes of Tusker Baridi n Co. always think RAO has the answers to everything.

I think Mk,RAO and Wiper might be playing all of us including their fellow MPigs....this might be a sideshow to distract us from something.

PLO on the impasse:

'In light of the law,the argument that the PM should be the Leader of Government Business has no merit. The only instant when the PM or any other minister may be Leader of Government Business is when designated by the President in accordance with the amended Standing Orders. What is clear is that there is a subtext to the debate, which is but a red herring. The truth is ODM realises it had a bad deal. In its mind, which is unsupported by the law, there is an institution of co-presidency.'

If MK is to attend parliamentry sitings as the head of state and mpig for Otahya then i think he should head the HBC,if not then RAO should be the next on line because he will answering question from the mpigs on the floor. Not Kaloss because of his Kanu antireform hungovers.MK OR RAO
