could it be the one linked to Kimunya? It was meant to protect potato farmers from middlemen. Heard that his brother brought it down.

Do you think that there's any money in fitting some godowns/warehouses and storage containers (on trucks/tractor-trailers) with insulation, air filters, and air conditioners and cold-trucking and storing "them 'taters"?

Or dehydrating them and turning them into potato "spuds"

Or any produce for that matter?

Best,

Hill

@Hunderwear; there is a lot of money in any business as long as you have the market! This is not a peculiarity of agriculture.

Actually, I think the greatest challenge that faces agricultural production is marketing of produce. This is why farmers are constantly complaining about the marketing agencies - KFA, KPCU, KTDA, and so-called "middlemen" & "brokers"
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

The company was financed by pearl capital and is now set to diversify into other agricultural products, seems set on a bright future.

Owned by Wainaina - the same guy who owns Junaco.
The man who marries a beautiful woman, and the farmer who grows corn by the roadside have the same problem
