a court that 'knows people'... even in normal courts a lawyer can ask for a change of schedule to do his work e.t.c. nothing is fixed in stone.

secondly, I have said this before. the ICC has never handled a case like this before and this is the case that makes or breaks the ICC. they have been eating europe's billions of euros and now have to be seen to be working. they are used to handling cases from Congo and some armpits of this world but never a case of this magnitude and they know it. Never has a sitting head of state presented him/herself to an international court for trial.
