Physical violence is not acceptable unless in self defense... I'm tempted to feel like Kidero was defending himself one way or another!

Sad for Nairobi county Sad

Shebesh could be 'karangaing herself with her mafuta'. Best thing is to ask higher powers (I hope she still has friends) to intervene and calm the storm.

Perhaps she should even resign from politics.

Provocation is not a defence in assault but do you think now that it is said there is a P3 Form he was justified in slapping Shebesh? I mean he could have pushed her away...playing Devlis advocate here..

self defense however is a defense for assault. if its true his balls were attacked then I can't see him being found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. personally I don't think any balls were grabbed but am sure kidero would have more than enough witnesses who saw it. this guy has good adisors and pr machine.

Lol good PR machine? Governor comes out, states he does not remember slapping anyone, only says goons came to his office, then goes and records a statement that he was assaulted, section of press report that he has apologised to the woman he slapped, tweets that his integrity was attacked, all thise happens and a section of MPs and FIDA call for his ouster. Now how is that good PR.!Their work should have started with telling him not to saything to the press, instead of telling him to plead amnesia and then come and say his balls were grabbed hence he slapped her, after saying he does not remember.hahahahaha wacha nilale

no comment may have been better but I don't remember doing it is also a prompt response before you decide what to do next. it allows you to contact your advisors and see how to handle a situation. my feeling is that the statement was made without the input of any pr person. still it's not a big deal. imagine him saying 'no woman, not even my wife, has ever assaulted me on my private parts. and I have never ever physically assaulted any woman (and the wife would conform this) so your honor, you would understand why at that point things were a bit muddled in my mind.' and he didn't apologize for dlapping shebesh, my reading of it is he apologized for the situation - which could be anything.

A new perspective, Shebesh slapped a guard in July 2013 for opening a gate slowly...
Quote:
Kazungu Chengo of Watchdog Security Company claims that on July 17, 2013 at about 1.30am, the MP arrived at her residence on Orchid Apartments, Riverside Drive 84, after which he opened the gate for her, albeit slowly, as he had been on phone.

Speaking at his Kangemi home Saturday, Chengo, whose Occurrence Book number at the Kileleshwa Police Station is 7/17/07/2013, claims Shebesh quarreled him asking him whether he had been hired by Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi a.k.a Sonko to spy on her.

“I tried to explain that I was speaking to my supervisor, but she became hysterical and slapped me. Efforts to get justice from Kileleshwa Police Station have been futile, as the OCS has been taking me round in circles. I want justice,” he said. OCPD Kilimani Peter Katam admits there was a complaint of assault involving Shebesh, and they are investigating.
