Who's got an idea of what an Arsenal XI may look like now then? When everyone's fit, naturally?

Podolski on the left, Walcott on the right, Cazorla, Wilshere and Ozil in the middle? Good luck getting the ball back off that lot.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger on the most exciting acquisition he's made in a long time:

“We are extremely pleased to have signed Mesut Ozil. He is a great player, with proven quality at both club and international level. We have watched and admired him for some time as he has all the attributes I look for in an Arsenal player."

Looks like Everton got Lukaku!!

Mourinho denied Demba Ba the chance to join Arsenal...he preferred to keep him. Ba had indicated that if he left Chelsea, his destination would only be at Arsenal...

I think he did. News not confirmed yet but he went for a medical after the transfer request.

Was it not for the news of his eminent retirement leaking, SAF should have sealed some early deals before announcing his retirement. This transfer window has been one huge Comedy Hour for Man United. But we soldier on!

Coentra is a left half back thus,if true ,he might have to fight for a place with Evra.He isn't better than Evra in all honesty and i don't think Man were looking for a LHB......again,it's possible.

That deal collapsed so it seems Fellaini is Man Utd's only signing.

What a COCKUP of a transfer deadline day for Utd. I swear we will miss David Gill more than Fergie, in much the same way Arsenal fans miss David Dean!!!The story of impostors going to La Liga offices without the cash for Herrera is true and it seems there'll be an investigation afterwards. Utd believed the valuation on the release clause was wrong but whatever they tried was bullshit. Reports say Herrera is very disappointed because he was even willing to take a pay cut to come over!!!WTF???

Clearly Moyes does not rate Evra AT ALL, evidenced by him trying a late move for Coentrao on loan that backfired because of late paperwork!!!!Fergie must have had a squeaky bum time the whole day!!!

We got Fellaini for 4M more than the release clause!!!

Moyes and Woodward must be the biggest clowns to ever grace Old Trafford. I have lost all faith in that pair after that debacle and will now be grateful if we finish in the Top 4.

Why did these guys follow Cesc for a MONTH????Fergie would have EASILY gotten Ozil maybe even for less. I never thought the day would reach when I would admire the business done by the goons, though they might regret not bolstering their defense.

Liverpool have also bolstered well and may be a threat.

Herrera may not come in january if we go for him after that nonesense! Moyes better see where he'll fix Kagawa and another loss at OT in the near future and I doubt the patience Fergie asked for will be given

Dear Mesut Ozil,
Please just come to Arsenal already. Don't even go for the medical test. We don't care even if you have AIDS. Just come!!
Sincerely,
ALL GOONERS!

Good buys by Arsene Wenger.

We may need to boost the quality numbers though because the defense and the bench are lacking sufficient numbers and quality.

5 year contract and the dude is 24,thats a plus I in all honestly dont like the business of buying 6 players all at once fusing then into the team becomes quite hard and thats when individualistic play comes in hand not always the best.
He should now look at propping the defence and getting one more top rated striker...
That mid field for now is just incredible...

On this one Jaduong' we have heard this before. Let them gel first then we compare notes in Jan. Remember Chamak and the UCL record, Giovanhi et all.

Lakini this time round Arsenal and Man u dod better than United.

Chelsea and City are in a world of their own.

Liverpool is picking up.
