There literally isn’t any level, no matter which way you look at it, that it makes any sense whatsoever to spend £90 million on Gareth Bale and then sell Ozil and Di Maria for £70 million madrid are just idiotic and now bidding £50 million for suarez really!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Man Utd have decided not to pursue Mesut Ozil, they are focused on Fellaini and Athletico Bilbao's midfielder Ander Herrera......SMH!
@Mc Reggae.....Reports indicate that Ancelotti has decided to keep Di Maria but he's not so keen on Ozil.
Transfer deadline is finally here, Arsenal have not yet spent anything on transfers but after yesterday's game Wenger indicated that the club will be busy before the 11pm deadline. Reports indicate that Italian Keeper Emiliano Viviano is already in London for a medical with Arsenal but the biggest story today has to be Arsenal's bid for Real Madrid's Mesut Ozil. Reports across Europe indicate that the gunners are already in advanced talks with Real to sign the player with a bid of £40m on the table. Perhaps this is the surprise signing Wenger mentioned after yesterday's game. ION Arsenal are also considering a bid for Demba Ba. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23924776

http://au.eurosport.com/..._sto3905586/story.shtml
I dont know why Arsenal is always linkedto Goal Keepers. That department is not that bad. What is required more is strikers and a little bit of defence. "You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it". Malcolm X

@Mc Reggae.....Reports indicate that Ancelotti has decided to keep Di Maria but he's not so keen on Ozil. There's no need for you to shake your head @Taz, Herrera is the guy who run the show when Bilbao run rings around us 2 seasons ago both home and away, for me he'll be a good buy to hopefully complement Kagawa because Cleverley start stop shit ain't taking us anywhere. We need that Cazorla/Juan Mata/Iniesta type of player. Fellaini is okay to bring some rough edge to the midfield that Carrick has never brought and with Fletcher looking like he'll never return, it is just as well. I'd have loved for Ozil to come to OT and I don't know why Moyes didn't make a move for him as Fergie did some couple of years ago,but 42M pounds sounds high by any standards - I'd have rated him at maybe 35M pounds in my own layman way. Anyway, better Herrera than nothing, and for less as well. I hear Utd are also targeting De Rossi, he'd also bring some steel to the midfield. Whatever happens, after yesterday's dismal display at Anfield, Moyes HAS TO buy. period. BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Quote: OZIL TO ARSENAL?
Spanish football writer Andy West: "Mesut Ozil's potential departure from Real Madrid is possibly the most interesting storyline to follow. Last season he was one of Los Blancos' key players and widely regarded as an indispensible member of the team - never mind the squad - but the arrival of Isco and Bale means something will have to give...and so far it's been Ozil.
"The Germany international reacted angrily to being substituted at Granada last weekend, and he didn't feature at all in yesterday's victory over Athletic Bilbao. However, latest rumours suggest he's set to rebuff Arsenal's interest and fight for his place in Madrid. We'll keep a keen eye on that one." Woi Arsenal It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt... -Mark Twain

@ Smano.....Herrera's buy-out clause is £31m which Athletic Bilbao have insisted has to be met before the player is allowed to leave. He is a good player but i don't think he is worth that much. Man Utd are also set to spend a further £25m on Fellaini.....£56m on 2 players who are not exactly World class players. IMO i think Utd should have placed a bid for Ozil, they really need an experienced playmaker. I believe Phil Jones can be moulded into decent anchor man, unlike Carrick he's a strong tackler and has some really pacey dribbles....my 2 cents!

@Taz, I agree with your sentiments on Jones, but he plays like a train and gets himself injured unnecessarily. @Poundfoolish, Highbury???? BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

TAZ wrote:"Arsenal agree a 50m euros (£42.4m) fee with Real Madrid to sign Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil" @BBCSport If Arsenal get Ozil, congratulations to you guys!! Ozil is a player I have admired for a long time. His performance at the 2010 World cup took my respect for him to another level. He's done well at Real too. He would be perfect for Arsenal although I would rather he was coming to Man United! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
