Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly #insider speak!!!!

not really... ask yourself what are the options? you discredit institutions then what? you discredit the police and the judicial system and take the law into your own hands then? the wrong person is lynched! you discredit an institution like ECK then PEV happens. kenyans write this down and underline it! YOU CANNOT DISCREDIT INSTITUTIONS THEN EXPECT THINGS TO GO WELL!

The institutions MUST also operate above board to earn that trust. But so far looks like all our institutions are beyond redemption. They are promoting anarchy!!!

Ditto...THE INSTITUTIONS MUST STRIVE TO MAKE THE PEOPLE RESPECT THEM!!!!!

they are not promoting anarchy.... people discrediting them for debatable decision making are! another statement to be written down and underlined is TRUST IN INSTITUTIONS IS NOT TO BE EARNED ITS TO BE GUARANTEED! They make a ruling and you like it or don't you follow it or appeal to another institution! compliance is not debatable. each institution operates under checks and balances by other institutions. if you feel aggrieved use those checks and balances to ensure that you either get your way or get informed.

Those institutions must inspire confidence and trust in us. We pay for them to operate beyond reproach.Anything else is sifficient recipe for anarchy.

Irony: when opinion polls are conducted, kenyans say overwhelmingly that the group they trust least is the politicians; yet, they take everything that their favourite politician says as true without question.

Peculiar indeed!

Even North Korea has institutions that enjoy near-divine status.

A few days ago, they executed the president's ex-girlfriend by firing squad for starring in a porn movie.

what are we doing here then if we cannot let institutions do their jobs?
the constitution was promulgated housing the aspirations of Kenyans. we bound ourselves to values enshrined in that document. we have laws created from that constitution, we have institutions springing from that constitution. these institutions operate in a legal framework. if one perceives that a certain institution does not work within the legal framework provided or the legal framework is faulty the constitution provided channels of addressing these gaps or perceptions. Laws are the only things that separate us from animals. We MUST follow them to the letter!! if we don't like them lets change them! but let us not break them because we judge them to be faulty. That is why I like Okiya Omutata - he takes stuff to court! <-- an institution!

its immaterial who you believe between the two... you MUST believe that the institutions the two are referring their cases to will do their job.

Now if an agreement has been reached and ratified before a Hon Judge. How can one of the prominet lawyers in the country trash it unless he doesnot trust the institution itself. Now what about me, a lay person.

The ndrama continues!!!

even a heartless beast would pity baba, just looking at his face and walking style you definitely see an honest man, a good man, a man who if given a chance would turn the country around.
Not many men his age would sit on the tarmac and take in all that tear gas, add to that being caned mbele ya umati, all that for the love of the country, of course apart from besigye (not sure how old besigye is), but the latter has taken the love of his country to a new level.
very sad that few listen to him, no wonder he compares himself to Jesus.
