I can imagine that in the negotiations for the 400billion plus project, China had the upper hand in everything. In another thread, I alluded to the fact that we carry more cheerleaders than seasoned negotiators to these foreign trips.

Are we really getting the best deal that we can from China? It is clear that our relationship with them benefits one more than it does the other.

Wow....more than 10 wonderful answers......one even says China will soon be a super power........they say our people simply refuse to think, they refuse to reason, refuse to think beyond their noses, refuse everything except that the west 'owes' china a lot of money and china has the largest reserves hence will be a super power.......who took our brains.......damn, facing the east.

my 2 tongolos, a deal of this magnitude will definitely sort us out and may make us conpetitive however its borrowed money - the sooner we start using our resources to get ahead - the better!!

And yet in another thread they are praising European cars and praising Ivy League graduates.Even Kamwana was in US university not Chinese university.Kweli they have their goggles on.
