As for Briana Rollins, if this was 10 years ago she would have been a US media favourite. But Americans are so jaded with doping that no one is paying attention to athletics anymore.

As for Kenya, this is the weakest marathon team they have fielded in a long time. But I am not loosing any sleep over Kenya athletics.


@McReggae and Alba, I concede on the issue of Kabede but I was spot on about giving up any hope on our men marathon. For 1,500, we need to watch that Ethiopian with the second best time this year behind Kiprop.

Kenya's best placing will be 4th. The Jamaicans will grab both the relay golds.
