Allyson got injured?

As expected Pryce wins followed by the two African queens Obare and Ahoure.

She probably chickened out. Her season best was the worst of the top 4

I think she chickened out as well!

She looked injured yawa.

sasa we have to win the marathon to stay at no. 3.

Forget winning the Marathon. The Ethiopian Kabede is in the race and if you have been following marathon, you will notice that the Late Wanjiru was the only Kenyan to have beat Kabede (And he was used to that) If any Kenyan Beats Kabede, well we might say that we will have discovered Wanjiru's Successor.

The marathon is unpredictable. Different weather , terrai, pace etc favour different athletes. Who wins will depend on who has mastered the given conditions.

Don't give yourself false hope. Marathon may be unpredictable but Kabede is predictable. You should be praying that the Kenyan Lady in 800 Meters surprises us the same way Jepkosgei surprised us when she beat the great Maria Mutola in the 800 Meters for the first time.

The quality we have in the men 1,500 may even help us to sweep all the medicals.

We wacha uongo. Kabede did not participate in the London Olympics. This was a silly decision by the selectors in Ethiopia and even after the great Gebrselassie pettitioned the government for his inclusion in the team, Kabede was not included.

You have to accept that Kabede has dominated the Marathon they way Wanjiru used to Dominate. The guy has been winning every marathon he participates.

Lets pray that we produce our next champion but lets not have very high hopes.

I havent given myself any false hope. I said the marathon is wide open. How does that amount to false hope ? In fact the winner of the marathon could be from a country other than Kenya or Ethiopia. Look at that Italian Straneo who almost shocked the world.
