Its a great idea to add a 5th mode of transport (currently we travel by Road, Air, Water and Trains). He yesterday finally talked about it as seen below http://www.businessweek....-explains-the-hyperloop this is his blog on the same http://www.teslamotors.com/blog/hyperloop If its 1/5 cheaper than building a freeway. Why not have the same tech doing bulk transport of goods too? ET3 also hopes to do the same over evacuated tubes - think about Propelling cargo at 8000 km/h in vacuo levitated using maglev!
