This thing is full of issues. First, during the last referendum, these fellows and civil society were leading the chorus of the katiba being the most progressive in the world. Second, a past attempt by Kioni to disband Senate as it doesn't add much value was dismissed by these same quarters as mutilation of the constitution like the way Jomo govt did with 63 katiba. Why is this proposed change not a mutilation?

Third, these quarters are the same that pushed for presidential system coz they thought they had the votes. Fourth, they are lying to us that it's about small tribes missing out on the presidency. Lies! The last time I checked Kamba, Luo and Luhya were not minorities! Within CORD the main fellows are from these big communities: RAO, SKM,Wetangula, Nyenze. Even within cord there is a tyranny of numbers! Take it from me, even if we have college or parliamentary, it will take decades for us to have a Borana President/PM. How long has it taken states to have a black president

The tyranny could still work against CORD during the plebiscite and vote NO to oppose the proposed ammendment...its an uphill task for Odinga.

In my opinion, i think the referendum thing is coming too soon whether for county allocation or parliamentary system. We should first let the counties manage the little funds they have been given then add them some more later.

Fifth, they have said they won the polls in March and the victory was stolen from them. Why then do they have issues with tyranny of numbers if it cannot deliver a win? Or is this an indirect concession of defeat?
