I like both Ohurogu and Montsho. I would have preferred our sister Montsho to win. Montsho seems to have difficulty over the last 50m. In 2011 she was almost run down by Felix. This year she was run down by Big O who has very good closing speed.

But I can live with the big O getting gold. The downside is that those insufferable British announcers are really gonna boast about their countries accomplishments. This despite the fact that they are depending on immigrants to win their medals. Walalo na wanaija.

I can also live with SAFP winning the womens 100m. Kama ni jamaica hapo sawa. Anyone but Pharmalita Cheater.

She touched the line before the lady from Botswana though it was very close, both finish at 49:41!!!

Close finish there,my favourite Sanya Richards missing in these championships.

Aaaiii, that medal has been issued to fast. Who has the photo finish?

Montsho did not dip her head otherwise she would have won.

President Uhuru Kenyatta will travel to Moscow for Thursday’s 3,000 metres steeplechase final.

given the rivalry between kipruto and kemboi this will be a tricky one kipruto agent will push him to go for the win as it will earn him more money in appearance fees in future events while team tactics will want kemboi to go out in style with a gold medal d'oh! d'oh!

Reminds me of the day Seychelles were participating in the Volleyball event in Kasa kindu 2005 or 2006. The place was always full by 10... na game ni ya saa 2.

The 10K team also said they had a plan. There was even a long article about their plan in the Daily Nation.

Ati they have a plan. Farah will tear them apart before they think of executing it.

Kipyegon is a class act, qualified with ease, Helen Obiri has also qualified in heat two and Langat as fastest loser......3 Kenyans in the finals, Dibaba's younger sister and the Swedish Ethiopian.

Between her and Obiri we should get a medal, though with Alegawi in it,gold will be a tall order.Where are those Turks who took gold and silver in the olympics in this event?...very questionable was their victory....Nancy Langat too makes it to the final.
