I am a researcher and am sure what that census official did was wrong. He came to my house found my house help and my 9 year old daughter and went ahead to interview her and marked my house as counted. Please some one tell me where i can report that,the data we get will not be right if this is what they did!!!

Thanks Jaribu i will surely forward my complaint. My friend also was not counted and her house is marked counted,despite the fact that she lives alone so that was a faked interview.

I do believe census officials did a very bad job for the billions of shillings alocated for the exercise. They had no provision for the Kenyans living abroad to be counted let alone allow us to register with the various Kenyan missions abroad for the purposes of the census.

There are alot of Kenyans residents abroad who make up large percentage of our national population and contribute to our GDP.

I do hope that the census officials do not come up with another scheme to fleece the tax payer by sending such officials in foreign capitals to pretend to count Kenyans when such exercise could easily be carried out by embassy staff.

The Nairobi numbers may end up grossly inaccurate,bt shagz ones r likely 2b 98% correct,and I stand 2b kollected! Thats the reason I hav little regard 4young city kids,wot they just did was a total mockery of moral integrity n intelligence.

The only reason why some people are still alive is coz its illegal to shoot them!!

@ Wote

I agree with you and that will be done in silence,then we will be told some tens of billions were allocated to count our brothers abroad however there were some delays and the budget went up by about 20%......

its high time the govt officials accounted for all our monies

@ mwenza

while your statement is absolutely correct,there could be some degree of error in the counting of kenyans living abroad...

they asked my mum if she has kids living in the US or UK... she replied no.

the fact of the matter is we have siblings in SA and UG.. and their details were not taken..

US / UK is not synonym to abroad...

@mwenza that was my hope but my father called to say' this people have refused to include details of my children living abroad'. So we were not counted period.

@kamaa

That problem must have been with the particular enumerators becoz the census forms talked of 'abroad' not just US/UK. These are the 'cerelac kids' simonkabz is complaining about.....the type that is only interested in money without wanting to work for it.
