Hio air-lock ni kama ile Kamau the plumber hua anaeleza kila saa maji iko kwa tank lakini haitoki kwa mfereji. I have never tried to understand Kamau the plumber i just let him do his work.

You can actually 'remove' the airlock without involving Kamau - its a simple process...but let Kamau make afew coins

The explanation is rather simple...KPC/Pipecor under-estimated demand for Jet A1...and went ahead to fill the pipeline with AGO(Diesel). Due to the high prevailing price, very little diesel is being uplifted...which means there's no space to infuse Jet A1 into the pipeline hence the scarcity of the product yesterday. KPC must have spoken to the big boys(Total/Kenol Kobil/Vivo/Oilibya) to evacuate some of the product, leaving room for Jet for distribution to Embakasi.

Did it have to take 6 hours to remove an airlock?
Unbelievable?
