These guys have raided this once "classy" car like they have did to Plombox in 2010!!!!!

Kwani the 2500/3000cc capacity engine is nothing to Kenyans?

Or people are buying this car coz bei imeshuka kidogo and they then coma and realize that the capacity is not 1300cc but a Guzzler?

Sad Sad Sad Sad

i have been 'husudu-ing' that car bwana - don't talk badly about it.

So Mr. Tick-Tock drives a car less than 2500cc!!!!??? Thats why you are having tough times with Mr. Toothcomb.
Sad Sad

I am not ashamed to state that I drive a 97 Toyota Corolla 110. KAT.. Have driven it for 6-7 years!
A confession - I have been observing the "Prado vs Pajero" thread intently. However kuna hii Lexus IS 250 inanivutia sana.
I try as much as possible not to buy things I don't need with money I don't have to impress people I don't know/like

So Bwana Mukiri, you don't have a car? Cause you can only chastise others when you are not guilty of the 'sin' yourself, otherwise its a perfect case of hypocrisy ..nyani haoni kundule ....
About bicycles in other countries,...yes, there are cultures that are highly evolved (but also have very reliable public transit systems - making personal cars unnecessary). In yet other countries, car ownership comes with very high taxes (Hong Kong for instance). In the UK (London), they have congestion charges, which are high enough to discourage people driving into cities.
In conclusion, do not oversimplify - different places, different circumstances.

@maka, its the bad feeling you get, after kuchekelewa, that is the curse

If you don't like how the Mark X looks like and want the same performance look for the Toyota Royal Crown, (or hiyo Lexus IS 250). They share some engines.

the colonial social strata mentality is hard to eradicate ..it seems some people still think cars are a means of wealth expression..i believe it's becoming a hobbyist/practical endeavor that cuts across the divide..komarock or Muthaiga ..its time you reckon that..you have not met the "oil men of Kiambu" with their pick-ups
