Who said its the best?
But no airport beats JKIA in Nyeuthi Africa apart from SA and Northerners in the Deserts...Marrakech-Menara Airport, Morocco could be king in Africa but I may be wrong, but I could be right also!

Vuka border hapa tu Ethiopia and see wonders. We cheat ourselves ati we're good in this and that but in reality we've become complacent and mediocre. Leave alone the buildings even the service, JKIA is the only airport i've landed and found workers asleep on benches and floor.

But wait...i await a dumb comment of Ethiopia being not black africa

Thank you.
and the Immigration will not even make you feel at home. as hostile as the Greek immigration folks.
I am optimistic this will change though..

Truth be told, JKIA is like a ghetto. First, KAA should make the bad smell that permeates the place go away. It's a simple matter of soap and water.

I agree sometimes we think we have the best because we have not traveled around....or may traveled to where it matters. Surely, we should be having a better airport than Ethiopia.

Here are images of the Addis Airport.

Huo ni ukweli mtupu.

I once requested to be allowed to supply maji and cleaning service.............Foolish me I didnt know about Tenders.

Meanwhile:-why are we complaining about the shops........havent we been seething at Pattni over those shops?

If they are given Notice they run to court so why give notice.

So many ills were committed during Moid era, Kibaki tried to correct them akazeeka akawashana nayo.

Its time to correct those ills and its going to take a long time and will be painful for some people, good for others and hopefully good for Kenya.

I think we are missing the point by saying that we should bench mark JKIA against Africa. We should bench mark it against other transport hub which JKIA is. And we need to have an airport that will remain a hub in the next 50 years.

CNN travel ranked JKIA as number 6 of the world's most hated airports. Does that mean it is that bad and some African Airports should be ranked as worse off? No. The reason is that most African airports may not be considered here because the travelers who may have participated in this ranking have not used the airport. CNN rightly comments this about JKIA

surely @tassia, why are you this gullible? Did you also notice that 'research report' also ranked JKIA as better than Los Angeles (USA), Heathrow (UK), Charles de Gaulle (France) and JFKennedy is a point behind (USA).

Then you continue to show us images of Bole (Ethiopia) yet images have nothing to do with cleanliness, orderliness, and similar parameters used in the CNNgo 'research report'.

The contract period had expired and KAA had no obligatin to renew it. Kamlesh obtained a court order but did not furnish the KAA with it on time before demolision tnok place(12AM 31st July 2013)

@Maka, seriously speaking, how comes your legal arguments are always wrong in this forum. Am not hating or something like that, but i have noted that you are always 'giving legalish' advices and comments but all comes out as wrong. Are you a lawyer or law student?

The fact of the matter is that in nyeuthi Africa JKIA is ahead of many of it's contemporaries......people are talking eti some of us have not travelled around.....anybody who has widely travelled in Africa will agree that with it's filth JKIA is still ahead of many, nobody is claiming it's than those majuu airports but don't just hate coz everything Kenyan should be bad......wish some of you have seen how Ogas go gagagga while shopping in those 'fake' duty free shops.
