In some cases I have found them to be slightly more expensive. Then , no variety of stuff, across different types of commodities.

By coincidence, I mostly pass there at night and Guess What? The guys at JKIA duty free shops are always asleep, while the shops are left open. Almost all. Wana Lala tu hapo chini. If not careful, you can actually step on them. So, doesn't really make a difference.

Plus they were not well designed. They all need Refresh.

at the rate plans for kutoza ushuru are going, may be there is no need to continue selling us those supposed "duty free" goods

and i agree, the shops are not well designed - most of them are replicas of each other) and there is little variety

PS. Does Pattni own all the shops because @impunity said all the shops. Ama ni alarmist?

Let the law take its course. Normally for such demolitions to take place, there is usually a vacate notice given at least thirty days before demolition. However, kenyan over time have a lot of impunity.

KAA need also to build a modern Airport, we have the capacity....I have visited a number of countries and they have quite good Airports.

Lets not be hasty in judgement, I am sure there is a perfectly reasonable explanation.

I thought I'd read sometime back that the shops were to be relocated to the new terminal 4? What I know is that terminals 1 and 2 need more space and that is why the shops had to go. I invite you to pass by during the 7 am rush hour at the airport ti see for yourself.
