After more than 12 hours of debate, (Its only lawmakers high on something who can hold a debate lasting that longPray ) the House of representatives passed the bill to legalize it. The the bill now goes to the country's senate where it will definitely sail through...Ooops!!! I can see tourists flocking there to 'enjoy' this extra ordinary attraction.

@Magigi, it will not be easy for tourists (read, Magigi and Katimba)...remember that the government will have a registry of the partakers....They intend to get a big chunk of the prfits from the regular dealers

At its only the government would be allowed to sell marijuana and only to adults who register on a government database, letting officials keep track of their purchases over time. only the government would be allowed to sell marijuana and only to adults who register on a government database, letting officials keep track of their purchases over time. The Netherlands for example has managed the consumption of soft drugs for decades now. The sky has not caved on their heads.
In other places, possession of small amounts marijuana is a 'misdemeanour' type offence. Hapa Kenya if you are caught with one roll of weed its 7 years inside! Tuko nyuma sana.
