In the last 3-4 months Tanzania has hosted the 3 last US Presidents...now we all know to these people, there's nothing like coincidence...what is it that they know/lobbying about?

Rumor has it that it has something to do with DRC and the minerals there-in. I stand to be collected though.

The DRC and its minerals have always been an open secret to all and sundry - nothing new so far. Plus its seems to me much easier to get to DRC via KE than through Tz.

If it was DRC, they would have called Kabila to go eat some pizza at the White Hse and support the army, or even send troupes there. I tend to think it could be gas...TZ and Mozambique has more than what Quatar has. But I could be wrong...I think their snubbing of Kenya is as a result of the ICC cases. So far Its just Kenya and Burundi that have not been visited

From sources in one of the DRC's mining field; the former 3 US presidents have much stake in the mining companies there. The security is top notch, like a military camp. The closest these dudes can get to the action is TZ. They wouldn't dare land in DRC, to avoid the shenanigans and not appear as partisan to the going ons.

With the just discovered gas deposit in TZ running all the way to Mozambique, there's renewed interest in the country.
