Not so much due to the strike notice
But due to the fact that someone is not looking good at the moment and would want to look good

And after the one week?

they will strike then wakatwe more cash, lets wait and see who will give up first.
but honestly this knut chaps, must they approach all issues in such confrontational ways - the pay issue is more of a legal one since the government signed a back to work formula. They should just go to court and challenge the deduction.

Hi mambo ya vitisho, will only make matters worse.

The terms were extended one week this term and next term also one week.

Someone argued that why should they be paid for the extra weeks now when they have not worked for the said extension weeks? He claimed that let the teachers cover the extra weeks and then claim for the pay.

Is the leave during holidays automatic?I thought as part of their employment contract they are only entitled to 21 days annual leave, maternity leave, paternity leave only.During holidays they should report to school and stay there till 5 pm without the pupils.

I remember Sossion saying this when he called off the strike, "The strike is off, I hear there are others who have said schools should be closed. How can you close schools that are already closed"? This may not have gone down well with Kaimenya...This is war between two individuals...Wapigano fahali wawili, nyasi huumia!
