In its final report released on Monday, Elections Observer Group (Elog) says the polls were generally “freer and fairer than previous ones”, and that they fell within the range of pre-election projections.
“Despite the many serious problems such as widespread malfunctioning of electronic verification kits witnessed during the Election Day, the
parallel voter tabulation determined that the process was
generally credible,” the observers say in the report.
